With Charlotte's 3 sisters visiting and painting with us we had a good crowd of 9 producing some nice holiday cards. Of course we missed having Bruce's talent and charm balance out all those girls.

That was an awesome turn out, gals! I wanted to come, but my energy just left. Maybe the next one. Thank you so much for posting those photos, Delores! Much appreciation!

What a great idea to be working on holiday cards already. Those look great, Gals. Here is an idea that might work for your cards: A friend of mine asked me to make her a card with a swan on it. So I found a nice, blank envelope and doubled the size of the painting so that it would fit the envelope, once the painting was folded over. I decided to make the card hinge on the left side (rather than the top) so I placed the swan on the right side of the painting. Easy peasy.

What a great idea to use all of that precious paper to full potential. Some beautiful work Dee. I know she will be very pleased.

Dee, that swan card is beautiful and it is a great idea. I've made individual birthday and Christmas cards for a few family members and I think I will steal your idea. I found some large card envelopes at the thrift store so I have been painting to fit the envelopes I have.
