Sept. 9, Jan's Plein Air at Twanoh State Park, 10 till 2Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the delay in this week’s email. The distillery was super busy for the Labor Day weekend.

The plan for tomorrow, Thursday, September 9, is to meet at Twanoh State Park on Hwy 106 in the boat launch parking lot on the water side at 10 am.

The boat launch is on the west/north side of the park. If you are coming from Hwy 101, it will be the first thing you see at the beginning of the park. There is plenty of space for parking..

I have not had a chance to check it out, and most likely will be late, if I can be there at all. So, no lesson this time.

It should be a great spot, and I hope to be there.

Sept. 16, Twanoh State Park
Six of us showed up at Twanoh, yesterday, to be preceded by a large group of Local Bird Whatchers, with large Scopes and tripods. We heard joyous screams " There they are!!!!" and witnessed the massive Brown Pelikan, as they fled the area.

We were spread out over a large area.

Sept. 22 at Diesen Estates
We met at 10 AM and set up for a day of painting together. Everyone was in their own zone. Lots of free apples and pears to pick. We will meet there again next week. I'm always amazed at how many different paintings we turn out.
