I was asked, by my neighbor, to paint her dog, Sable. She is a shy, Mastive, and very loving. She would like it to be around 11 x 14. I chose to use Arches 12 x 16, 300 pound Cold Pressed paper, because of her huge size and dark colorations. I enlarged the photo as much as I could and started the transfer of her image to the paper.  |

That's a sweet looking dog! I wish you luck painting those eyes. My dog portrait was a mini schnauzer and there was not really a visible eye under the bushy hair and dark color. I loved doing him tho. Your neighbor will be so happy.
