I started the brick fireplace quite a while ago, spent most of the day in sketching it. Since I've missed a few classes lately I decided to finish this old one. It symbolizes the long cold winter of Covid to me... Confinement, repetition, and limitation.

I found it interesting, how several of us stuck it out and still managed to try and have some fun. You did a great job of capturing the central area of our heat source.

Thanks Dee. It was an interesting experiment and most of us really enjoyed getting out and painting, even with the discomforts of winter. It was a life saver for me.
