I set this one aside months ago and finally got back to it. Not necessarily a fair representation of a purple finch, but this is as close as I could get. 5 X7 Arches 140 lb. paper with M. Graham paints from a reference photo.  |

Your finch is beautiful but that's a grumpy face he has. Love the deep warm colors.

 The shape alone can give certain species an attitude. The flying Dinosaurs can be pretty fystie.

The shape alone can give certain species an attitude. The flying Dinosaurs can be pretty fystie.
