I wish I had watched this video before I painted the Sol Duc River. I overworked it trying to get the water right and trying to show depth into the mountains but here it is (full painting (18 X 24) and then matted two different ways to mask some of the foreground (11 1/2 X 15 1/5)). Arches cold press 140 lb. paper, M. Graham paints. Reference of the Sol Duc River photo taken by my son in August 2020.    |

This is so wonderfully active and alive. You can see and feel the movement of the river. It's beautiful.
