Here is a quote of Jan's up-coming Plein Air Classes for the next month.
Hello painters,
Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather. The pond at Eagle Creek Saloon was a remarkably nice spot for painting, and the weather yesterday was perfect.
I am going to continue to have classes on Thursdays at various outdoor locations, where we can be socially distant.
All of the classes will be from 10-3. The cost is $20, or what you can afford.
June 25 - My house, 26200 N Hwy 101, Hoodsport. There will be a very low tide at 2:35 pm for those of you who want to go out on the beach to paint. Otherwise, there is a gazebo, deck, and views of Sund Rock, etc. from the yard.
Directions: About 2 miles north of the distillery on Hwy 101.
Going north, there is a sign for Holiday Beach, and 2 crosswalks. We are just past the 2nd crosswalk, in the yellow house with a reddish roof, on the water side.
Going south, we are in a small community, south of the Tides Restaurant. Look for the yellow house with the red roof on the water side.
There is parking in the driveway and on Hwy 101.
Lunch: potluck for those who feel comfortable sharing, or bring your own lunch. There may be something delicious to drink with distillery products in it!
July 2 - No class - too close to the 4th of July
July 9, - Return to the Eagle Creek Saloon, 31281 N Hwy 101
We will return to the pond behind the saloon. Eagle Creek Saloon is on the west side of Hwy 101, and has a large hamburger on the roof.
Lunch: bring a sack lunch or buy a lunch at the saloon.
July 16 — Sunshine Creations, 24252 N Hwy 101, Hoodsport
Coleen has invited us to paint on her deck behind the art gallery in Hoodsport. There is space for 8 - 10 to be socially distant, and it is a very nice space.
Sunshine Creations is the bright yellow building In Hoodsport that is 3 doors north of the distillery.
Lunch: bring a sack lunch or check out the local restaurants.
Please let me know if you plan to join us. In case I have to cancel due to rain or smoke, I will contact you.
Plans are in the works for more locations later this summer, such as Cass’ home in Quilcene, and an RV park near the Tides, etc.
Stay healthy and hope to see you soon,
Jan
