Greetings painters!
It is finally time for the indoor watercolor classes to begin. Classes will be at Potlatch Brewing, which is a much larger space so that we can have social distancing.
The brewery space is not available on our traditional Thursday, so classes will be Monday as follows:
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Potlatch Brewery, 24180 N Hwy 101 (It is the previous Pier 101 space.)
Mondays: Morning class: 10 - 12
Evening class: 5:30 - 7:30
FIRST SESSION:
The first session will be a short one, just 2 weeks. Many of you have requested holiday greeting cards. So, we will do that for 2 weeks. There will be ideas and still life set-ups to paint, but please contact me with anything you would like me to include. (and/or bring anything you would like included.)
Holiday cards: Monday, October 25 and Monday, November 1
Class will be at the Potlatch Brewery in the morning and evening (see details above.)
The cost of the 2 week session will be $25, or $15 to drop in.
SECOND SESSION:
The next session at Potlatch Brewing will last 4 weeks, November 15, 22, 29, and December 6. I am working on ideas for that session, and will let you know.
The cost of the 4 week sessions will be $50, or $15 to drop in.
OUTSIDE ON THURSDAYS:
A number of us plan to continue painting outside on Thursdays. This is more of a “meet-up” without lessons, and is free.
Next week, October 29, we will be painting at Hunter Farms at 10 am. Bring a table or easel, and warm clothing. We are in one of the greenhouses, so rain gear is not needed.
If you would like to paint at Hunter Farms, let me know, and I will give you more details.
Finally, if you are no longer interested, and would like to be removed from this email list, please let me know.
Hope to see you soon.

I know! These Washington Women are some tuff cookies, right! They are dedicated to their passions! They know, that in order to improve at anything, it requires practice and a willingness to try harder. I'm very honored to be a part of such Artists, with common achievable goals. It was decided that, next weeks Plein Air will be at Whiney Gardens! Nov. 11 th: Whitney Gardens! 11 AM till ? and lunch next door, at the Half Way House.

Nov. 11th Whitney GardensToday, the world was our clam, because it was cold and damp. 5 showed up to share and paint. The best part of the day was a delightful lunch at the Half Way House Restaurant! We shared ideas, places to try out later and many other topics. Thanks Ladies for being there.

I cant beleive you weathered the storm that day to paint! It was a deluge here in Port Townsend, but we are supposed to be in the rain shadow and you all are supposed to be in the rain forest, so congrats for your bravery! Here is what I was I started working on the day before at our class in PT. John Adams demoed a beautiful snowy river scene that we tried to replicate... Attachments:
