Jan's Plan for April: NEWS FOR APRIL: During the month of April we will continue at Lake Kokanee. If you have not been to Lake Kokanee, there is plenty of space for 6 feet social distancing. The shelter has water and electricity. (See photo below.) We will meet these Thursdays at Lake Kokanee from 11-2: April 1 April 8 April 15 (I will not be able to join you.) April 22 April 29 The April dates are more like “meet-ups” and not classes, because Covid prevents us from standing close enough to each other for lessons and critique. So, there is no cost for any of the dates in the month of April.

I love that truck. You have to tell us about it. Make, year, purpose etc.

Be glad to. This Truck is owned by a local Contractor ( Zack ), who has done lots of work around here. He uses it to haul Heavy Equipment. It's a 60s M Series 1 Ton and a Half Stake Bed. We called them 6 Packs. because all 6 wheels drive, in gear. I told him, I drove one similar to it back then in Nam and asked to take a couple shots for reference. I would like to do a better Watercolor of it later. It's my photo and anyone may use it, if they'd like to give it a try.

That's quite a truck! I don't recognize the body style of any particular maker. I recognize some older trucks like Mack, International, Diamond T, etc. but that one doesn't look familiar. My first husband and my sister were truckers. If/when we have a car show, that would be a great place to sell smaller paintings of old cars and trucks. Keep the price low and I think they would really sell to the old car buffs.

M Series means Military Series. You won't see them much, unless you are in the Armed Forces or at car shows.
