Thanks Joe. Here it is, all painted with the basics and water Brush. I already see a few places missed, but will go back and correct.

Thanks. Here is the next step, with washes and final shading. Might use this sketch for a future painting.

Thank you sir. Today, at Plein Air, skipped page 6 and sketched and painted Page 7. This device was used, back in the day, as a steam driven cable wench and was powered by wood fired, portable Steam Donkeys. This engine was used in many applications and you may recognize it in Locomotive Train Engines. I'll see if I can find a photo to help explain. Anyhow, it is on display, right next to the Gazebo at Lake Kokanee Park, next to the Boat Launch. ( Just Click on this Link, below.)

I'm loving all the different subject matter lately! Is there nothing you cant paint? Both the gazebo and port dock have such difficult angles and perspective, but you pulled them off nicely. Impressive work, Bro. I'm so jealous of how you can just whip these sketches and paintings out. Well done.

It's not so hard, when you are right in front of these subjects. Sketching on location helps us capture and image and the feeling at that time. Then, we can use those images to make better paintings. Using Ink helps make lines count and only sketch, what is important to tell a story. I guess my painting didn't quite do that. I tend to assume everyone knows our area and it's History, but often forget they don't. This photo may help explain. The engine is in the lower left hand side, so you can see how large these units are.
