Please read before Posting!
1.) First thing to do is start a thread in the "Introductions" section. That way, we have a chance to get to know you.
2.) PLEASE be courteous to your fellow members. Rude behavior won't be tolerated. We are all here for the same thing: the enjoyment of this great art form!
3.) OBSCENE LANGUAGE is not a necessary part of our art, unless you're in the confines of you own hobby room! Let's not talk that way here! Pornography doesn't have a place here, either. Please don't post any nude or suggestive pics. Remember, somebody's young child may be looking in on the site.
4.) Religion and politics can cause flared tempers, which can lead to bad feelings between members. There are places for those topics, but this isn't one of them. Please refrain from either subject.
5.) Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Nuff said!!!!
6.) If a problem arises between you and another member, please contact a staff member with a PM. We will handle the problem from our end with a peaceful resolve in mind up to and including banning one or both members involved. Remember, this is a fun art!
7.) Everyone has an opinion about our art and they see it in the threads. If you have a criticism concerning a painting, please keep it civil and constructive. Bashing each other's work tends to escalate, which in turn will diminish the membership.
8.) There will be a section for the buying, selling, of art-related products. Be aware that the staff here at "WatercolorArt" are in no way responsible for the transactions that may take place. In the event of a deal gone bad, contact a staff member and we will attempt to resolve the problem up to and including banning.
9.) If you have a question about the way the forum is being run, put it in the form of a PM to a staff member. If the staff thinks it is necessary to put it in the form of a thread, we will handle that part.
The above rules are fairly simple. Most forums have rules very similar to these and the members adhere to them very well. Anybody who cannot abide by these rules may receive a warning, a short suspension, or an outright permanent banning!
Any actions taken will be discussed and considered by the staff members prior to being implemented.
Rules may change as the Forum develops, so please check them from time to time.
