Dec.3rd at Diesen EstatesNancy, in conjunction with Jan Morris, set up classes for the month of December, every Thursday Todays Open Class was at Diesen Estates, from 11 am till 2 pm. We had 6 participants. Even though it was overcast and chilly, we managed to have a good time of getting out and painting together. Next week ( Dec, 10), Jan won't be able to make it, but those wishing to meet at Lake Kokanee, at 11 am till 2 pm, are welcome to come. No charge, open classes all this month. I will show all 4 classes right here, for those interested, to see how we did.

That's great that you are all getting out there despite the weather and Covid! Good for you. Looks like some nice paintings resulted from this outing.

You die hards wouldn't be doing that here, daily temps are in the high 20's... your paint would freeze along with your hands and feet... looks like you had fun though!!!

You are right Joe. That would be extremely difficult. We do have a Lady in Pt. Townsend, who travels to the Arctic and makes and sells here paintings of Icebergs. She also paints Plein Air.

I love your color choices for the tree, Bruce. Really makes it stand out. And the texture in the grass is so cool. Did you do that by coming back and lifting?

No, Dee. I used salt to give it texture and it gave me the effects in the foreground. As you can see, I did most of it at your Cabin, whilst doing 3 loads of wash. Used my Mini-Pallet travel set, mostly blue and shades of reddish browns.

Delores submitted her finished Landscape painting from last week. It includes one of the Hamma Hamma Bridges, at high tide. Beautiful work Delores and thanks for sharing with us.
