I've reposted Jans' email for Nov. 5th at Lake Kokanee. Take full advantage, because we may not get any more till next season.
Jan's Message: NOVEMBER 5 As you know, we are painting at Lake Kokanee on Thursday, November 5. There is a very large covered outdoor structure/gazebo, which will keep us dry, and still be outside. There is a fire pit in the structure. I will bring some firewood. If you would like to cook your lunch over an open fire, please feel free to bring something. If you would like to have a pot-luck lunch, Delores is bringing hot dogs to share.
There is free parking at the boat launch. If you do not have a Lake Cushman sticker, you can unload at the large gazebo, and then park at the nearby boat launch.
Directions to Lake Kokanee are in previous emails.

Yes and a little Cook-out for Lunch. I'll bring a cooler, water bottles ( with ice ) and maybe a few Brats. Drove down there Monday and there was only one car at the Park and a few over at the Boat Launch.

The weather report is looking a bit damp, so bring appropriate clothing. Shelter is provided, as well as electric, water, cooking and rest rooms. I will also bring my hand dryer.

Jan won't be able to make it today, but several others will brave the day to try out our skills at the fine art of Watercolors. Our thoughts go out to Jan's quick recovery. Remember to bring your masks and practice safe distancing with respect to others. We will be under cover, as well as a Cook Out for lunch. Tube Steaks abound. I see an excellent opportunity to practice working on cloudy skyscapes. We never know what inspirations will abound. We will practice our Fire Making merit badges and cooking skills. I hope someone remembers the Mustard.

Great turn out today, despite the weather. We had 7 Artists attend. Mona built us a fire to help keep us warm and cook our lunches. Paint was fervently flying in all directions. We had a fantastic lunch, the painted to around 3 pm. We all showed our paintings and shared comments. Lake Cushman Security checked in on us. Most of us didn't quite finish, but may later add to the Thread. I will post photos as they are sent in or members can post their own.

Despite the chilly temperatures and high humidity, everyone did quite well, thanks to everyone helping to pitch in. Mona kept us all warm and gave us something to cook with. Delores brought plenty of hot dogs. Laney brought a dryer as well as others chipping in with covered dishes, utensils, condiments, etc. We had fun!
